sierraspringsphotography > June 5, 2009 This is from a Trash the Dress session I did last weekend. It was a warm day and it felt good to get in the water along with the models. Today, however, the weather has turned and I'm glad I'm not doing it this weekend...it's cold.

sierraspringsphotography > March 9, 2008 When hubster and I were visiting Grass Valley, I was admiring and photographing the old Daily Union Newspaper building. A lady came out and offered to show us the newly refurbished interior. It is now a Tai Chi studio and the interior walls and ceiling have all been stripped bare to reveal high brick walls, and open ceiling structure with large skylights and newly installed bamboo flooring. A beam of light from the skylight was on the brick wall and the instructor's jacket hung waiting for the next class. It was a lovely building. I wish I would be more bold about my picture taking, but I felt like I was intruding. Note to self: When people say it's okay to take some pictures, take your time, tell the owner how much you appreciate the opportunity and don't be so timid.
